About the 2006 Conference Speakers Schedule Order Conference Messages

Called to Preach Conference on September 4-5, 2008

The biennial preaching conference, sponsored by the Center for Preaching at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, exists to promote preaching excellence by modeling biblical preaching and equipping preachers with practical skills for proclaiming the Word of God.

Proclaim the Truth was our most recent conference, which took place on September 7th and 8th, 2006. Pastors, students, ministry spouses, and others who have accepted the call to be a voice of truth to this generation gathered together for worship, training, and inspiring preaching.

At the 2006 conference, participants were equipped with new tools and a renewed passion to proclaim the truth through a fantastic line-up of accomplished preachers and an array of learning opportunities. The schedule included: four opportunities to worship God together and listen to inspiring sermons, three teaching sessions covering the important topics of Exegeting the Text, Exegeting your Congregation, and Exegeting your World, and the chance to attend two workshops which equipped participants with new tools for approaching the fundamentals of preaching.

Our next biennial preaching conference will be on September 4-5, 2008. The theme for the conference is "Called to Preach." We are in the planning stages for this. If you want to be informed of our next conference, please join our mailing list.
