Dr. Sean McDonough, Professor of New Testament, was recently interviewed on the Euangelion blog about his new book from Oxford University Press, Christ as Creator.

Dr. Gary Parrett, Professor of Educational Ministries and Worship, was recently interviewed on the White Horse Inn about his new book Grounded in the Gospel: Building Believers the Old-Fashioned Way, which was co-written with Dr. J. I. Packer.

Distinguished Senior Research Professor at Gordon-Conwell, Dr. David Wells, has written an article on the missional movement blog Resurgence.com entitled "The Bible Is Not Self-Help". In it, he discusses reading God's Word in order to hear His voice and how "scripture is not therapy".

MSNBC recently cited Center for the Study of Global Christianity Research Associate Bert Hickman in an article on missionaries in Haiti entitled Haiti Awash in Christian Aid, Evangelism.

Dr. Todd Johnson, Director of the Center for the Study of Global Christianity, was recently quoted in an article in the Washington Post entitled Survivors Have Renewed Attitudes.

Both the Integrative Seminars scheduled for the Charlotte Campus on January 30, 2010 are now canceled due to the expected weather in the region over the weekend. This includes the main seminar on Ministry or Maintenance? and the Writing and Research Seminar. The topic will be featured at the fall seminar scheduled for August 28, 2010.

Gordon-Conwell alum Kevin DeYoung (M.Div.) has written another book with co-author Ted Kluck, entitled Why We Love the Church: In Praise of Institutions and Organized Religion. We spoke with Rev. DeYoung a few months ago about the book.
