MOONJANG LEE, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of World Christianity, 2006.
B.A. (Korea University); M.Div. (Chongshin Seminary); Th.M. (Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary); S.T.M. (Yale University Divinity School); Ph.D. (University of Edinburgh, Scotland).

Dr. Lee served five years (2001-2006) at Trinity Theological College, Singapore and three years (1997-2000) at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland as a Lecturer in Asian Theology. As the Christian center of gravity shifts to the South, Dr. Lee endeavors to articulate an authentic Asian understanding of Christianity from within the Asian epistemological framework that will be both faithful to the Bible and relevant to the multi-religious Asian context. His research areas include examining the issues related to the interface between the Gospel and Asian cultures, working out a viable methodology for Christian studies in the Asian religious milieu, articulating a new approach in the world mission and finding a way to utilize the traditional Asian reading method(s) in the study of the Bible.
