Carol M. Kaminski, Ph.D.

Dip. Miss., B.A. (Bible College of Victoria, Australia); M.A.(Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary); Ph.D.(University of Cambridge).

Dr. Kaminski, who is a native of Australia, teaches courses in Old Testament and Hebrew language at the Boston campus. Her dissertation has been published in the Journal for the Study of the Old Testament Supplement Series: From Noah to Israel: Realization of the Primaeval Blessing after the Flood (JSOT Sup, 413, 2004). Her research interests include exegesis and theology of Genesis, Old Testament covenants, and the meta-narrative of the Old Testament. She is currently working on a book entitled, Was Noah Good? Finding Favor in the Flood Narrative, which examines the role of divine favor in the flood story. Dr. Kaminski has also created visual charts on the Old Testament that are structured according to the acronym CASKET, and is currently working on an Old Testament CASKET Study Guide. She is a member of the Cambridge Commonwealth Society, the Institute for Biblical Research, the Evangelical Theological Society, and the Society of Biblical Literature. She and her husband live in Salem, Massachusetts.
