DataBase Download

Over 3,000 artifacts were catalogued from Tomb 1 at Tell Dothan. Below, you can download databases of the basic information regarding these objects for your own perusal.

These databases were compiled from the object records made in the field during the excavations, and are being refined as other materials are consulted, and as research continues. These will be periodically updated and expanded as more information becomes available.

The nomenclature of the database follows that of the original records. Information marked with two dots indicates that there is some question as to the nomenclature, numbering, or legibility of the written records for that datum. Most of these notations indicate only minor questions.

A field marked "NE" indicates that no original entry is available for that datum.

NOTE: The FileMaker Pro files are preformatted for that software on a Macintosh platform. To use with other database software or on a PC platform, download the "Tab-Delimited Text" versions, and import them to the software of your choice, taking note of the fields as listed and consulting your software manuals.

Objects are pre sorted by level and square, listing items together acording to their location in the tomb.
