Gordon-Conwell—Cincinnati

Education to Enhance Your Ministry in Cincinnati

It’s Closer than You Think

For much of Christian history, the church trained its own ministers, pastors, missionaries, and teachers. Gordon-Conwell—Cincinnati is a new approach to theological education. In our embedded and gathered model, we offer in-person courses hosted in local partner churches, as well as distance courses that tap into the live classroom of Gordon-Conwell’s vast educational resources (Digital Live).

Gordon-Conwell—Cincinnati is not a new seminary campus; it is a new way of thinking about educating pastors for ministry in our city. There are several major components to this new kind of theological education:

  • For ministers and lay leaders seeking to gain exposure to the riches of theological education, we offer opportunities to attend lectures and seminars geared toward ministry in our city.
  • For ministers seeking a theological master’s degree, we offer the chance to complete one of various degrees. Our education combines courses taught live, in-person here in Cincinnati by faculty with close connections to the city, along with the chance to participate via Zoom in a wealth of Gordon-Conwell courses with students from around the world. There is no need for you to leave; we will bring the courses, the classrooms, your fellow students, the teachers, and even the library resources to you.
  • For ministers who already have an MDiv but want to go deeper into ministry with a cohort of like-minded people, we offer a Cincinnati-based Doctor of Ministry (DMin), also taught primarily by professors with deep local connections.

We are waiting for you. Come join us. Your ministry in our city will never be the same.

Exploring the New Testament provides a biblical-theological introduction to the New Testament as the divine fulfillment in Jesus of God’s redemptive plan through history.
